You'll learn how it grows, its importance in Oaxaca, and why it has been so special for generations.
You will then take part in the manufacturing process, starting with the roasting of the cocoa, where you will see, smell, and feel how the transformation of the bean begins. Later on, you'll experience the grinding process, getting to know the texture and aroma of freshly ground cocoa.
Then comes the most educational part: creating your own Oaxacan-style chocolate, molding it and giving it your special touch by grinding it yourself. Finally, you'll prepare and enjoy the taste of your own creation. It's an experience designed especially for children, full of learning, culture, and chocolate moments.

This experience is designed especially for children, so each child must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
We work with clay, chocolate, and other delicate materials in the space, so we ask for special care during the whole activity.
In the event of any breakage or major damage within the premises, parents or guardians will be responsible for covering the damage caused.
Meet at the main entrance, which is a black gate. Our team will be waiting outside approximately 5 minutes before guests arrive to welcome them.
Guests will be able to easily recognize the host, who will be wearing an apron for identification and will be waiting at the entrance to welcome them and start the Experience.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
