Immerse yourself in the Mercado de Tlacolula, Oaxaca's most vibrant tianguis. Taste golden tlayudas, artisanal mezcal and discover Zapotec treasures among colorful stalls.
We will go to Tlacolula de Matamoros, a town 45 minutes from downtown Oaxaca, we will visit its historic market that exists since the XVI century where we can see all kinds of handicrafts from different towns around the central valleys (this experience is only available on Sundays). We will tour the entire market where we will taste unique dishes, a true street food experience. We will also stop at a mezcal distillery to taste the most artisanal mezcal you will ever taste.
