This is a cultural and culinary experience highlighting Mexico's Gastronomy, a Human heritage recognized by UNESCO. Starting with a visit to the local market, followed by a cooking class with a chef
This adventure is filled with colors, aromas and flavors with a local guide showing you around the market. He loves sharing his love for Coyoacan and its cuisine, feel free to ask him whichever question you might have. After eating some quesadillas and walking around the local market, your guide will take you to Meztli Boutique House & Spa where the Chef of the House will be expecting you. The chef will make you fell at home and, quoting their words: "I want guests to feel as welcomed as I felt when I cooked with my grandmother". The vintage kitchen will transport you to a cozy moment where the chef's main objective is for you to have fun, feel free and comfortable while learning about the Mexican techniques, ingredients and recipes.

The itinerary starts with the chauffeur picking you up at the indicated address at 9 a.m. from here you will be driven to Coyoacan’s Market, where your guide will walk you towards the first stop, a quesadillas stand, get ready to open our appetite; later on while buying some more ingredients for the cooking class, get enlightened with the Mexican history and culture. The adventure continues walking towards Meztli Casa Boutique & Spa, where the cooking class will take place. You will cook the menu you decide from the options below:

- "Agua de Jamaica", hibiscus water
- "Agua de Horchata", rice water
- Lemonade with chia seeds
- Tamarind water

Entree:
- Guacamole
- Chicken "sopes" with sauces
- Shrimp Broth
- "Charro" Beans, cooked with charcuterie

Soups and Starters:
- Tortilla Soup
- Dry noodle soup
- "Hoja Santa" (piper auritum) molote filled with string cheese
- Mexican Red Rice

Main Course:
- Mushrooms with purslane and green sauce
- Pork Rind in Green Sauce
- "Tinga", shredded Chicken with tomato sauce and chipotle Chili
- Mole with chiken

Dessert:
- Tamarind candy
- Caramel popcorn
- "Alegrías", amaranth and chocolate cookies
- Fried plantains
