In a workshop they will show us how their magical hands make various products with wool, pedal loom, natural dyes and how they mix Zapotec and Mixtec designs with works by contemporary painters. We will visit a workshop where they will participate in the process of making handmade beeswax candles, an important element in the community's traditions.
At the Palenque Mal de Amor in Santiago Matatlán, we will tour aboard a barrel-shaped cart through the maguey roads of Santiago Matatlán, rituals with mezcal in a maguey plantation, visit a pulquería with tasting of pulque, cured meats, aguamiel and tepache.
