Explore the Teotihuacan Archeological Zone and Acolman Monastery on this private guided tour from Mexico City. Create your own piñata in the village where this tradition was born.
To start this experience, you will be picked up by your tour guide early in the morning to depart for Teotihuacan. Once at the site, you will start to explore the archaeological zone by climbing the impressive pyramids of the sun and the moon, and walking down the famous Avenue of the Dead.

You'll also visit the beautiful Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, and other key sites of this ancient city. As you walk around the site, your tour guide who will share with you the history and facts of this important area. 

After the archaeological site tour, you will have a buffet lunch, where you will enjoy some typical Mexican specialties. You will then head to nearby Acolman. This little town is famous for its magnificent 16th-century Augustinian convent, one of the oldest in Latin America.

Acolman is also the birthplace of piñatas, which later spread throughout the Americas. You'll visit a museum in an old convent, and attend a workshop where you will create your own piñata.

After a full day of experiences, you will return to the vehicle to relax on the way back to Mexico City.
