Come and witness the Winter Solstice on the beach. This natural phenomenon marks the change of season and the arrival of longer nights on the Oaxacan coast. It's a symbol of a new cycle.
On December 21, we'll start very early with the transfer from your hotel to Ventanilla. There, the community cooperative hosting this experience will welcome us. Through their story, we'll learn about the importance of the ceremony and its deep cultural meaning. We'll be greeted with drum music and conch sounds. Upon arrival, we'll settle in on the beach to greet the rising sun and watch it pass through the "Ventanilla" rock. With respect, we'll participate in the ceremony led by a shaman and share the joy with the local children's cultural group.
Finally, we'll enjoy a breakfast by the sea before heading back to your hotels in Huatulco.*

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
