Your guide will meet you at the Cholula Train Station. The first stop on the walking tour is the Iglesia de los Remedios, the famous church built on top of the pyramid and one of Cholula's most important and iconic buildings. You will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Cholula, Puebla, and the volcanos from the church courtyard.
From there you will visit the archaeological museum where you will learn all about the largest pyramid in the world and what life was like in Prehispanic Cholula.
The next stop is the local cemetery where you will get to see some of the modern traditions in Cholula and learn about the present society and culture.
Then you will explore the archaeological site which consists of an open ceremonial center with several pyramids and ruins. Your will understand how these great temples were built and experience the grandeur of this amazing religious center.
Finally, the last stop on the tour is the San Gabriel Complex, the oldest Spanish building in the city. The complex is made up of three early 16th century structures built directly on top of ancient ruins.
The walking tour ends at the Zocalo of San Pedro Cholula. You will be dropped off at the main square where there are cafes and restaurants.

There is a 15 minute tolerance for tardy customers, after that time the tour will begin. Tardy customers will be allowed to catch up with the group if they are within 30 minutes of the original starting time.
Your guide will meet you in front of the Cholula Train Terminal located on the corner of Calle 6 Norte and Avenida Morelos.
There is a small plaza called "Plaza La Estacion", your guide will be waiting by the sign.
Your guide will be wearing a large camouflage hat and a t-shirt with the Obsidian Tours logo.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
