Gallery of Petru Costin of the Ialoveni District Council

The purpose of the Gallery is to develop creativity, return each of us to the historical past of the nation.
The "Gallery of Petru Costin collections of the Ialoveni District Council" is centrally located in Ialoveni, on the way to Mileștii Mici winery, which holds another Guinness Record. In 2013, the Ialoveni District Administration and the Alba Iulia County Council from Romania helped him refurbish the building of a former school into a gallery.
Starting with November 2020, the Gallery is part of the "Guinness Record Route in the Republic of Moldova". The launch of the route took place right at the "Gallery of Petru Costin collections of the Ialoveni District Council". It is unique both in the Republic of Moldova and in the world, because it includes five exclusive tourist attractions: the largest collection of horseshoes; the largest map of the Republic of Moldova, made of coins; the largest underground wine collection; the deepest underground production of sparkling wines; the longest underground wine tourism route. It is important to mention that the 2021-2025 Concept of Local Tourism Development in Ialoveni, drafted with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX), places the Gallery in “Top 10 tourist attractions of Ialoveni”.
