Day 1: Ulaanbaatar – Hustai National Park – Elsen Tasarkhai (Sand Dune Hills) (L/D)
Depart Ulaanbaatar and drive to Hustai National Park, home to the rare wild Takhi (Przewalski’s) horses. Enjoy a short hike through the park to spot these majestic animals in their natural habitat.
Continue your journey to Elsen Tasarkhai, a unique area of rolling sand dunes, grasslands, and mountains. Explore the dunes on foot and experience a camel ride across the frozen sands.
Dinner and overnight with a local nomadic family.

Day 2: Elsen Tasarkhai – Khugnu Khan – Ulaanbaatar (B/L)
After breakfast, join your host family for a hands-on nomadic experience—help with herding livestock and learn about their winter lifestyle.
Later, visit the ruins of the ancient Buddhist temple nestled in the Khugnu Khan Mountain valley.
After lunch, drive back to Ulaanbaatar, arriving in the evening.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
