Experience the life of a nomadic family in beautiful Terelj National Park. This experience allows you to learn about Mongolian nomadic lifestyles. Plus, visit the famous Chinggis Khan statue & Temple
Day 1: Journey to the Terelj National Park

Morning: 08:00 am. Meet your guide and get an overview of the days ahead. Depart Ulaanbaatar by car, enjoying the scenic landscapes on the way. Visit the famous Chinggis Khan Statue (Tsonjinboldog).
Drive towards Terelj National Park and visit Turtle Rock and Ariyapala meditation temple.
Afternoon: Arrive at the nomadic family’s ger (yurt). Have lunch with your hosts and settle in. Participate in daily chores, such as milking cows or making dairy products. Learn horseback riding basics and explore the surrounding valleys for one hour. Potential hiking in the nearby mountains if time allows.
Evening: Share a traditional dinner and learn about their way of life.

Day 2: Return to Ulaanbaatar
After a traditional breakfast, say goodbye to your nomadic hosts and journey back to Ulaanbaatar. Along the way, stop at the Zaisan Memorial for a final scenic view. Your adventure concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or any location of your choice in the city center.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
