Description

Southern Mongolia is widely known for its Gobi Desert, one of the world's most unique ecosystems and best kept secrets. This unique ecosystem is renowned for its stunning natural formations.
Day1
Your driver will greet you at the airport/railway station and transfer you to a centrally located hotel. Free day to relax and discover the city on your own while staying in a good location central hotel .

Day 2
After breakfast, we will move to white stupa. The name Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) is given by local people to the impressive and legendary cliff which is eroded by natural phenomenon. Having 10 million years history, the cliff indicates different times by its colored layers. Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) is interesting to see from the sheer slope, facing east, which from a distance seems to be the ruins of the ancient city.

Day 3
After breakfast, we will move to Yol valley. Yoliin Am/Bearded Eagle Valley is one of the picturesque valleys accessible by car. After our vehicle brings us to a designated parking area, we will walk through the resplendent valley into the depths of a sheer rock canyon, which accepts no sunlight. Therefore, it has ice until the end of June. The hiking continues for 2.5 to 3 hours for travel into the valley and back to the vehicle. Bearded Eagles, elusive wild sheep, and ibexes are indigenous to the valley.

Day 4
Our journey will continue to Khongor, part of the Gobi Gurban Saikhan National Park. After reaching the sand dunes, you will hike along the green stream shore, climb sand dunes, visit a nomad family and ride two-humped camels for an hour. If you can climb one of the tallest sand dunes, spread the sand northwards against the wind to find out why locals call the sand dunes "Singing Sand.” The sunset/sunrise and the views are fantastic from the top of the sand dunes.

Day 5
Our adventure will journey continues to the Flaming Cliffs, where American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews found the remains of dinosaurs, including the first dinosaur eggs ever discovered on earth. The cliffs are picturesque and photogenic at sunset.

Day 6
After breakfast we will drive to Baga gazriin chuluu. The astonishing granitic formations of Baga Gazariin Chuluu, ”stone of the little place”, are located in the northwest of the province of Dundgovi. The erosion polished the rock faces of the cliffs. Some of the lateral entries of the canyon are not very accessible, but most of them permit to enter and to make wonderful hikes in this rocky maze. You may manage to see on the rock the inscriptions written by two venerated monks who lived there in the 19th century.

Day 7
After breakfast we will head back to Ulaanbaatar city. Ulaanbaatar is the capital and most populous city of Mongolia. It is the coldest capital city in the world. The city was originally founded in 1639 as a nomadic Buddhist monastic center, changing location 28 times, and was permanently settled at its current location in 1778. You can do some shopping at State Department store, Cashmere and souvenir shops in the afternoon. /as optional/.
