The Huon Valley, south of Hobart, is a foodie’s paradise with scenery to match. On this Private Day Tour, guests explore the best of the Huon Valley as well as visit the
D’Entrecasteaux Channel for a cheese tasting at one of the most sustainable cheeseries in Australia.
Willie Smith Cider House is the first stop of the day for morning tea, featuring their famous apple pie and organic cider tasting paddles. As we travel through the Huon Valley, guests will enjoy tastings of honey, sheep’s cheese, different spirits and cider tastings from two Cider Houses. We visit the town of Cygnet, known for its quirky cafes and shops, as well as the summit of Mt Wellington for stunning views over Hobart and the surrounding suburbs.
On the way back to Hobart, guests will be treated to the stunning views of the
D’Entrecasteaux Channel, looking over to Bruny Island. This tour aims to showcase the diverse local produce and people of the Huon Valley.
