Join a baking workshop at Haagse Bakzaken in The Hague and learn to make the Bossche Bol, a classic Dutch pastry. Under the guidance of Susan Veninga, owner of Haagse Bakzaken and finalist of the Dutch TV show Heel Holland Bakt, discover the secrets of choux pastry.

Begin by learning how to make classic choux pastry, including how to recognize the right consistency and how to pipe evenly shaped choux buns. Bake them so they rise beautifully and stay light and airy, then fill them generously with freshly whipped cream.

Finish your pastries with chocolate to create your own Dutch-style Bossche Bol. Make smaller choux buns to practice the technique and have plenty to taste and take home.

Halfway through, take a break for coffee, tea, something sweet, and time to chat with the other participants. At the end of the workshop, take home a box filled with your own freshly made choux pastries and Bossche Bollen, the recipe, and Susan's tips for making successful choux pastry at home.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
