Start with a scenic drive to Dhulikhel, a traditional Newari town with Himalayan views. Begin the hike towards Namobuddha Monastery, an important Buddhist site linked to the legend of Buddha’s selfless sacrifice.
Continue your hike through peaceful trails, terraced farmlands, and pine forests until you reach Balthali Village (approx. 5–6 hrs hike). Check in at a cozy resort/guesthouse and enjoy an evening surrounded by nature.
Wake up to a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. Explore Balthali village and experience the simple lifestyle of the locals. Hike down to Panauti, an ancient Newari town rich in culture and temples (approx. 3–4 hrs hike). Drive back to Kathmandu in the afternoon.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
