The “Tamang Heritage Trail” is an exciting trekking route between Langtang and Ganesh Himal. Tamang Heritage Trail offers a rich culture and tradition of Tamang, beautiful and stunning views of the Himalayas and adventurous trekking experience as you reach the Tamang hamlet. Explore the ancient gompas, Buddhist prayer rocks and colorful prayer flags that signify the culture and tradition of local Tamang people near the Tibet border and the culture influenced by the culture and tradition of Tibetan Buddhist people. Tamang is an ethnic group hugely settled in the lap of Langtang range and is considered to be migrated from Tibet during the 7th to 8th centuries. The warm hospitality and local cuisines of Tamang people will make your entire Tamang Heritage Trail trip awesome and memorable.

The Tamang Heritage Trail starts from sightseeing in Kathmandu including Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Boudhanath. Kathmandu is culturally and historically rich as well as observe the cultural diversity. After sightseeing in Kathmandu valley at the UNESCO heritage sites, scenic drive to Syabrubesi. Driving along the bank of Trishuli River observing the lush green forest, diversified landscapes and local settlements with mesmerizing views of the Himalayan range. Passing through the beautiful villages of Gatlang, Tatopani leads us to Nagthali. The trail descends downwards passing the beautiful villages of Thuman, Briddim, and ultimately to Syabrubesi. Drive back to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi ending our Tamang Heritage Trail.

Day to Day Itinerary Tamang Heritage Trekking :

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel, Trip Information. Overnight at Hotel Kathmandu Suite Home.

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing- Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square.

Day 3: Drive to Syabrubesi (1450m) by Bus.

Day 4: Trek to Gatlang (2238m)
Day 5: Trek to Tatopani (2607m)
Day 6: Trek to Nagthali- Thuman (2338m)
Day 7: Trek to Briddim (2229m)
Day 8: Trek to Syabrubesi (1450m)

Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu by Deluxe bus from Syabrubesi.

Day 10: Final departure.
