In Chhekampar, trekkers experience Tibetan Buddhist traditions, colorful monasteries, and ancient stupas. Physical Fitness: Moderate fitness is essential, as the trek involves daily walking of 5-7 hours and altitudes up to 3,700m (Mu Gompa).
Best Season: The ideal time to trek is March-May (spring) and September-November (autumn) for clear skies and pleasant weather.
Accommodation: Basic teahouse accommodations are available along the route, with limited amenities.
Meals: Expect simple yet hearty meals, including dal bhat (rice and lentils), noodles, and Tibetan bread.
Guided Experience: A guide is mandatory due to the restricted area regulations, ensuring safety and cultural insights.
Packing Essentials: Warm clothing, good trekking shoes, a sleeping bag, and personal essentials are recommended.
Altitude Considerations: Acclimatization days are built into the itinerary to minimize the risk of altitude sickness.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
