Mera peak summit climb is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. At the height of 6461m/21,190ft, we will get to experience astonishing views of the Himalayan Vista. 5 of the 8000m above peaks visible from the summit which includes Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga. It is situated at the edge of the popular khumbu region Mera peak is a perfect option for climbers with moderate mountaineering experience, and also suitable for people looking to summit their first Himalayan Peak. People would still require training, and basic technical mountaineering skills as it is a challenging trekking peak as it is a high-altitude trek and climb. The participants would need to be fit and be comfortable and skilled in use of ice-axe and crampons. Moonline’s sherpa guide will provide you with required basic mountaineering training before the summit climb.

The climb gets you view of the north face glacier in a controlled rise to the summit ridge, creating exciting environment at the top. After you climb the mountain, you will return through a direct route across a ridge to Lukla, and flight back to Kathmandu. We have arranged Itinerary for Mera peak which is designed carefully with stable ascent, and maintaining required days for acclimatization.

Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m).

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu city and preparation for trek.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2800m) and trek to Chutang (3475m)
Day 4: Acclimatization at Chutang.
Day 5: Chutang to Thuli Kharka (4300m) via Zatra la (4600m).
Day 6: Thuli Kharka to Kothe (4182m).
Day 7: Kothe to Thangnag (4356m).
Day 8: Thangnag to Khare (5000m).
Day 9: Acclimatization at Khare –Practicing ice climbing.
Day 10: Khare to Mera Peak Base Camp (5350m).
Day 11: Climb to Mera High Camp (5750m).
Day 12: Summit Day and descend to Khare.
Day 13: Contingency Day.
Day 14: Khare to Kothe.
Day 15: Kothe to Thuli Kharka
Day 16: Thuli Kharka to Lukla.

Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu. Farewell Dinner.

Day 18: Departure from Kathmandu.
