Description

Embark on a trek to Everest Base Camp designed for seniors. Enjoy a slower pace, shorter distances, and extra acclimatization days.
Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and rest.

Day 2: Spend a rest day in Kathmandu to recover from jetlag. Enjoy a comprehensive trek briefing and finalize your paperwork.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding. Walk for 3 hours over 8 km.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar. Walk for 6 hours, covering 10-12 km.

Day 5: Acclimatize with a hike to Everest View Hotel, returning to Namche. Walk for 3-4 hours.

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche. Walk for 5 hours, covering 10-11 km.

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche. Walk for 5 hours, covering 11-12 km.

Day 8: Acclimatize with a hike to Nangkartshang Peak. Walk for 4-5 hours.

Day 9: Trek to Thukla. Walk for 3-4 hours, covering 5-6 km.

Day 10: Trek to Lobuche. Walk for 3-4 hours, covering 4-5 km.

Day 11: Trek to Gorekshep. Walk for 3-4 hours.

Day 12: Hike to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorekshep. Walk for 8 hours, covering 14-15 km.

Day 13: Morning hike to Kalapattar, then descend to Pheriche. Walk for 6-7 hours, covering 13-14 km.

Day 14: Trek to Tengboche, or optionally continue to Phunke Tenga. Walk for 4-5 hours.

Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar. Walk for 4-5 hours, covering 5-6 km.

Day 16: Trek to Phakding. Walk for 4-5 hours, covering 10-12 km.

Day 17: Trek to Lukla. Walk for 3 hours, covering 8 km.

Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a scenic 30-minute flight.

Day 19: Spend a leisure day in Kathmandu to rest, shop, or explore.

Day 20: Depart from Kathmandu.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
