Ama Dablam Base Camp via Kongma La Pass trek is a strenuous yet rewarding trek in the Everest region. This less crowded trek route serves beautifully for adventure enthusiasts as the trail passes through steep rocky slopes, often covered by snow and ice. You will also pass through several small traditional villages inhabited by ethnic groups, mostly Sherpas.

*ITINERARY**
Day 1: Fly to Lukla (or via Manthali) and trek to Phakding

Day 2: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Day 3: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar

Day 4: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Deboche

Day 5: Trek from Deboche to Dingboche

Day 6: Acclimatization day at Chhukung (Hike to Chhukung Ri)

Day 7: Trek from Chhukung back to Dingboche

Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

Day 9: Trek from Lobuche to Pangboche via Ama Dablam Base Camp

Day 10: Rest and exploration day at Pangboche

Day 11: Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar

Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Day 13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (or via Manthali)

  • Domestic flights (Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu) tickets and airport departure taxes
  • Total 12 nights. Five nights at Lukla, Phakding, and Namche (3N). Seven nights in standard rooms Deboche, Dingboche, Chhukung (2N), Lobuche, Pangbohe (2N). Twin sharing room.
  • All standard meals (13 Lunches, 12 Dinners, and 13 Breakfasts) during the trek.
  • Government-licensed English-speaking Wilder WayTrekking experienced and qualified trek leader. (1 assistant guide for a group of 12 or more). Porters to help trekkers' luggage. One porter for every two trekkers. Per trekker luggage weight limit is 9 kg.
  • Guide and porters' costs: their meals, insurance, salary, lodging, transportation, flight, and other necessary equipment

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
