The 12-day Annapurna Circuit Trek is a renowned adventure in Nepal, situated within the Annapurna Region and protected by the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP).
This trek spans altitudes ranging from 800 meters to the challenging Throng La Pass at 5,416 meters, traversing diverse landscapes including rice paddies, subtropical forests, rural villages, and glacial zones. Trekkers are treated to panoramic views of the Himalayas, showcasing peaks such as Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Manaslu, and many others including Tilicho peak at 7134 meters.
The itinerary begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Chamje via public bus and shared Jeep. By day four, trekkers reach Chame (2630m), headquarters of the Manang district, where a natural hot spring offers rejuvenation. Day six leads to Manang via Gheru and Nawal, offering stunning vistas of the Annapurna Himalaya Range, with an extra day for acclimatization. The journey continues to Throng High Camp via Letdar (4250m), with an early morning start on day ten to cross the challenging Throng La Pass (5416m), connecting Manang village with Muktinath Temple. After lunch in Muktinath, trekkers overnight in Muktinath Village before hiking to Jomsom via the windy Kali Gandaki River valley.
The adventure concludes with a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, where trekkers can relax by Fewa Lake and explore the natural beauty of Nepal’s second-largest city. When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
