The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with RP Adventures takes you through the lush southern Annapurna Himalayas, renowned for its stunning scenery. Ghorepani, a charming village surrounded by rhododendron forests, offers spectacular views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna peaks. The trek follows the historic Trans Himalaya Salt Trade Route, once used by mules and horses transporting goods between Nepal and Tibet, leading to the village's name, Ghorepani (meaning "Horse Water").

Starting with a scenic drive from Pokhara, the trek passes through farm villages and waterfalls, gradually climbing to Ulleri and then Ghorepani. The highlight is an hour-long morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m), offering breathtaking sunrise views over the Himalayan range, including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. The return journey includes a scenic route through the Gurung village of Ghandruk, ending with a drive back to Pokhara.

The best seasons for this trek are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November), offering clear skies and vibrant rhododendron blooms. Winter is also an option, with clear days but cold mornings and nights.
