Description
Pokhara & Mustang: A Journey from Lakeside Serenity to Himalayan Mysticism.
Unplug from the modern world and embark on a transformative 7-day retreat that seamlessly blends the peaceful energy of Pokhara with the rugged spiritual beauty of Mustang. This journey is designed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul through daily spiritual practices, awe-inspiring landscapes, and a deep dive into local culture.
Your retreat begins in Pokhara, the "City of Lakes." Here, you’ll find tranquility and a stunning backdrop of the Annapurna range. You'll spend your first days practicing yoga and meditation in a serene setting, connecting with the peaceful environment.
The adventure then elevates as you journey by flight or jeep to Mustang. This is a region of dramatic landscapes—a high-altitude desert with deep gorges, barren cliffs, and a unique, untouched beauty. Your days will be filled with light trekking or jeep tours to ancient villages like Kagbeni and Marpha, known for their Tibetan-influenced architecture and hospitality. You’ll visit ancient Buddhist monasteries, which seem to cling to the cliffs, and learn about the local way of life.
The spiritual highlight of the trip is the sacred site of Muktinath Temple. A pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, it is home to 108 waterspouts and a sacred eternal flame. The energy of this location is palpable and is the perfect place for meditation and reflection.
This retreat offers a balanced experience of inner reflection and outward exploration, providing a chance to disconnect from distractions and reconnect with yourself amidst the Himalayas. You'll return not only with a clearer mind but also with incredible memories of an unforgettable journey.
