Day 1: Welcome to Christchurch - Arrival at Hostel
Welcome evening - Meet your Small Group Tour driver guide and fellow travelers
Day 2: Christchurch to Franz Josef
- Today we travel from coast to coast right over the Southern Alps passing through the Arthur’s Pass National Park
- Two days to unwind in Rainforest Retreat and visit the Franz Josef glacier.
Day 3: Franz Josef Free day
- Carve your own Pounamu (Greenstone) jewellery (included)
- Explore the Franz Josef glacier, an ever-changing landscape of ice. Opt for the Heli-Hike adventure, allowing you to walk on top of the glacier itself. For a free option, walk through the rainforest to a viewing area where the icy wonderland lies just 750m away.
Day 4: Franz Josef to Wanaka
- West Coast Wildlife centre (included)
- Discover the Thunder Creek falls in Mt Aspiring National Park
- Admire the famous mirror views of Aoraki/Mount Cook from Lake Matheson
Day 5: Wanaka to Queenstown
- Visit the famous Wanaka tree
- Arrowtown visit
- Visit the world’s first commercial bungy site – The Kawarau Bridge.
Day 6: Queenstown Free day
- Have the whole day to yourself and explore the wonders of Queenstown
Day 7: Milford Sound day tour
- 2 hour Milford Sound boat cruise
Day 8: Queenstown to Christchurch via Lake Tekapo
- The last hurrah in Christchurch; today we drive through the Lindis Pass to Lake Tekapo, visiting the Church of the Good Shepard, then onto Christchurch where the tour concludes.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
