Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt World Heritage Site Festival, with the kind support of: ENTEGA AG, Sparkasse Darmstadt, and the science and technology company Merck
On the weekend of June 6–7, 2026, the Mathildenhöhe will celebrate its World Heritage Festival, which will include the opening of the exhibition “A Step Ahead / Einen Schritt voraus” to mark the 125th anniversary of the first exhibition held there in 1901.

Guided tour of the permanent collection at the Artists' Colony Museum, including explanations of the works, ideals, and ideas of members of the Artists' Colony, as well as the history of the four major art exhibitions held between 1901 and 1914.

The duration is 60 minutes.


To participate in one of the 60-minute guided tours of the Artists' Colony Museum, you must select a fixed time slot. This tour is offered once on Saturday and once on Sunday, at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on both days!
