Embark on an unforgettable experience in the Norwegian mountains on a snowmobile tour from Tromso. Explore the wilderness, hear some local stories, and go for a real winter adventure.
Head out of Tromso for a unique Arctic snowmobile tour in the wildneress. Embrace a winter adventure and try your hand at a new hobby while in Norway.

Sit back and relax in your comfortable bus as you make your way to basecamp. There dress in warm winter gear and begin the adventure with safety instructions and a practical demonstration.

Hop on your snowmobile and follow the snowmobiling track that leads you to the snow-covered mountains. Stop during the trip to take photos and play in the snow. Drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile and plenty of opportunities to switch places during the two-hour snowmobiling excursion.

This is a beginner tour and the speed would be around 25-30km per hour depending on the group.

After the ride, enjoy a traditional Sami meal before heading back to Tromso.

Please note! The tour takes around 8 hours including the bus ride, lunch, preparation, tour and return to Tromso. The actual driving time is around 2 hours. You must have a valid driving licence to drive a snowmobile in Norway.

The bus that will take you on the transfer from/to Tromso unfortunately cannot wait for anyone who is late.
Find the bus taking you to our camp at Prostneset Bus Terminal at 9:00. Please be there 15 min before.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
