Learn cross-country skiing in a scenic environment on a guided tour from Tromsø. Ski through the central part of the island, and take a break to enjoy a hot drink and a sweet snack: local treat - lefse.
During the tour you will learn how to put on and take off your skis. Then, begin to ski using basic techniques in a completely flat area. After some training, learn different techniques and challenge yourself on small hills.
Ski towards the northern part of the island in a scenic area with birch and spruce forests, mostly on prepared trails on the top of Tromsøya island, a short drive away from the city center.
Take a break where you will be served a hot drink and lefse, a local sweet snack. After the tour, rent skis to practice cross-country skiing on your own.

As the weather can change rapidly in Northern Norway, it is obligatory to wear warm and windproof clothes. Winter clothes are not included in the price of the tour, but can be rented separately at our rental center upon prior arrangement.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
