DAY 1: STAVANGER – PREIKESTOLEN
We will start the day with an early departure, heading south to Stavanger. During the journey, we will take in some of the most spectacular scenery on Norway's west coast.
Along the route, we will take two ferries to cross different fjord arms, a quintessential experience when traveling through this region and a perfect opportunity to admire the scenery from the water.
STAVANGER
We will explore this charming coastal city, famous for its Old Town, where perfectly aligned white wooden houses have been preserved.
Stavanger offers a combination of maritime history, a laid-back atmosphere, and proximity to the Lyse Fjord, which will be the highlight of the day.
PREIKESTOLEN
Difficulty | MEDIUM | 10–11 km (round trip) | 4–5 hours |
Preikestolen is an impressive cliff that rises approximately 600 meters above the Lyse Fjord. From its natural platform, you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the fjord and the surrounding mountains. It is one of Norway's best-known natural formations.
A NIGHT IN NATURE
After the hike, we will head to our overnight camp, in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.
We will pitch our tents and have an outdoor barbecue, a perfect opportunity to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Norwegian wilderness.
MÅNAFOSSEN AND KJERAG
We will start the day by visiting one of the tallest waterfalls in southern Norway.
Månafossen has a drop of approximately 90 meters (300 feet) and is located in a stunning natural setting. Access involves a short climb up maintained steps, allowing you to enjoy the waterfall from a prime vantage point.
KJERAG
Difficulty | MEDIUM | 10–11 km (round trip) | 4–5 hours |
We will continue to Kjerag, one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Lysefjord. From the top of the massif, at an altitude of over 900 meters (3,000 feet), you can enjoy panoramic and breathtaking views of the fjord.
