Your general admission ticket gives you access to more than 500 native and exotic animals, daily animal talks as well as vet‑led demonstrations at The Nest Te Kōhanga, Wellington Zoo’s very own animal hospital.
Open daily (except Christmas Day) from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:15 PM.
During your visit, you can enjoy your own lunch at our outdoor picnic areas or indulge in the food venues located at the Zoo. REX Tremendous Cafe is found at the entrance and the Banana Bar right in the middle of the Zoo. Browse sustainable, locally sourced gifts and souvenirs in the Zoo Shop

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
