Your day begins with a warm welcome at Lyttelton Port, followed by a scenic drive through Christchurch and the Canterbury countryside. Along the way, your knowledgeable local guide will offer engaging insights into the region’s history, culture, and landscape. We’ll pause for a delicious morning tea before continuing into wine country.
Your first tasting stop is at a boutique winery known for its expressive cool-climate wines and family-run charm. Then it’s on to Greystone — one of New Zealand’s most celebrated organic vineyards — for a long, leisurely lunch. The seasonal three-course menu, crafted by Greystone’s resident chef, features fresh regional ingredients and is expertly paired with five of their handcrafted wines for a true taste of North Canterbury.
After lunch, you’ll visit a third hand-picked winery for your final tasting of the day, offering yet another perspective on the region’s diverse terroir. If time allows, we’ll stop for a scenic photo opportunity on the return journey.

Free shuttle buses take passengers from the ship to Norwich Quay near the Canterbury Street public bus stop.
Our Jade Tours vans and guides will be waiting in the carpark. The default tour start time is 9.30am. Please make an effort to get off the ship early to be at the carpark just after 9.00am. Some ships arrive later and you will be advised of the appropriate departure time

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
