Day 1: Arrival In Uganda

Your Mahanda Africa Safaris guide will pick you up from Entebbe airport (or other specified pickup point) and transfer you to Protea Hotel By Marriott, only a 10-minute drive from the airport.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you might have time to explore Entebbe town. There are many options in Entebbe and a tour can easily be organized at an extra cost. For example, you could visit the Botanical gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC)

Day 2 Transfer From Entebbe To Kidepo Valley National Park

Today, start your day with an early morning breakfast, you will then be briefed by Mahanda Africa Safaris guide, after You will be picked for a transfer to Kidpeo Valley National Park. Here comes the exciting road trip through the beautiful Ugandan countryside. You will have a stop-over for lunch in Gulu/Kitgum district. After lunch it will be about 3 more hours drive to your lodge for the night. You can then look forward to a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Game Drive In Kidepo Valley National Park

Today is the day you have been waiting for. Start your day with an early breakfast, your Mahanda Africa Safaris guide will set you off for the game drive. Kidepo Valley National Park is known for its excellent lion and elephant sightings. Herds of up 1,000 buffalo are often encountered. Cheetah are seen with increasing frequency, and it is home to many dry-country species, among them caracal, aardwolf, greater and lesser kudu, mountain reedbuck and Guenther's dik-dik. But it is not only the animals, the scenery alone is breathtaking, after the first game drive you will have lunch at the lodge. Around 3 pm you will continue the game drive. You will return to the lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 4: Karimojong Community Cultural Tour

Today, start your day with an early breakfast, your Mahanda Africa Safaris guide will lead you to meet the locals, the karamojong community, and spend the day with them to appreciate their unique way of life. You will leave with packed lunch since you can spend enough time within the community. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer Back to Entebbe

Today, after a relaxing morning breakfast, you and your guide will set off on the return journey to Entebbe, making several stopovers along the way for sightseeing and lunch. Depending on the time of your outbound flight, we may need to book you into a hotel in Entebbe for the night at cost price.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
