On this 10-Day African holiday/safari to Uganda, a country proclaimed as the "Pearl of Africa", you will visit a fishing village, engage in Ankole cultural experiences, immerse in some culinary tryouts and witness wildlife during game drives and a launch trip in Queen Elizabeth national park. Visit a women empowerment N.G.O, hike through scenic landscapes, and explore cultural sites.

Day 1: Welcome to the "Pearl of Africa"! You will be warmly received by our guide on arrival who will then transfer you to your accommodation. in Entebbe
Overnight: Airport Guesthouse Entebbe with bed and breakfast

Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel; today, you will visit Mukuuba, a fishing village on Lake Victoria, one of the community tourism projects of Yange Africa. You will partake in activities like a community walk, board games with the locals, witnessing fishing, and visiting a local island.
Departure from Hotel: 9 am and Return: 5 pm. Activities in Mukuuba: 10 am-4 pm. Lunch break at 1:30 pm.

Day 3: Today you will participate in a culinary experience and a city tour of Kampala with your A T W Holidays Africa guide.
You will visit various historical and cultural sites including Kasubi Royal Tombs (a Unesco heritage site), Mengo Palace, Nakasero Market, and participate in a Rolex plus Luwombo culinary experience.

Day 4: Depart Kampala early enough and start off the journey to western Uganda. Stop over at the Equator for breakfast and witness the water experiment standing in the northern and southern hemisphere.
Continue the journey, stopping at roadside markets to enjoy tropical fruits like pineapples and melons.

Day 5: Participate in Cultural Experience at Ishanyu Homestead and experience some of the cultural treasures of the Ankole people.
Activities include milking a cow, preparing and tasting traditional yoghurt, ghee, and milk in traditional pots.
Start-off time: 7:30 am to the homestead. Full-day experience.

Day 6: Depart Mbarara for Queen Elizabeth after breakfast at the hotel. Stop at roadside markets to enjoy Uganda’s tasty fruits. Check-in at the accommodation have a lunch break, take on a game drive to see the wildlife.

Day 7: Start with an early breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the park for a morning game drive.
Browse the plains around Kasenyi, and in the afternoon take on a launch trip along the beautiful Kazinga channel.

Day 8: Transfer to Kasese town, spend the morning at Thuyilweko Women Empowerment Organization, participating in craft and weaving sessions, traditional performances, and a community visit.
Visit banana and coffee fields and Kororo Falls.

Day 9: After breakfast transfer to Fort Portal on a scenic drive with views of the Rwenzori mountains. Have lunch, then in the late afternoon, take on an adventurous crater field experience with the "top of the world hike".

Day 10: Today after breakfast, you will transfer from Fort Portal back to Kampala or Entebbe where you will be dropped off at airport or hotel.
