Enjoy a comprehensive 10-day experience visiting Uganda's premier wildlife destinations. See the Big Five game species, discover Murchison Falls, and track gorillas in the mountains of Bwindi, along with many other activities.
Day 1
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, then be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Enjoy a city walking tour if you arrive before 12:00 PM local time, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included on your first day.
Day 2
Depart for your first destination, the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Afterward, head to Murchison Falls National Park. Hike to the top of Murchison Falls followed by dinner and an overnight stay at a 3-star safari lodge.
Day 3
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive. Spot 4 of the Big Five game species, lion, water buffalo, leopard, and elephants. Enjoy an afternoon boat trip on the River Nile where you may spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalo, and several bird species. Later, go on an evening predator game drive.
Day 4
Enter Kibale Forest National Park for a 7-hour scenic drive through local villages and towns. In the evening, rest up at a forest camp.
Day 5
Embark on a day of tracking chimpanzees and other primates. See species including Grey-cheeked mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, and L'hoest's monkeys. In the afternoon drive, through Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 6
Head out on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains where you will spot elephants, buffalo, kobs, warthogs, waterbuck, and potentially some leopards and lions. After lunch take a leisurely cruise on the Kazinga channel.
Day 7
Depart for Bwindi National Park with a game drive through the Ishasha sector (home of the tree-climbing lions). Arrive at the Bwindi Forest in the afternoon.
Day 8
Hike through the dense Bwindi Forest with an experienced ranger in search of the resident gorilla family. Enjoy 1 hour of time watching the gorillas. Continue to Lake Bunyonyi with an evening-time motorized canoe ride on the lake.
Day 9
On the penultimate day, travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Check-in at the Mburo Eagle's Nest hotel, before an evening game drive.
Day 10
Embark on a short game walk before departing for Entebbe. Stop for lunch before being dropped off back at Entebbe International Airport to check-in for departure flight. An extra night's stay in Entebbe for next day's departure can be arranged on request.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• It is recommended that you book at least 3-6 months in advance as gorilla permits are in very high demand
• Please be aware that 2 weeks' flexibility for your dates is required as permits for specific dates may not be available
• It is recommended that you book flights arriving before 12:00 PM on Day 1, and departing after 6:00 PM on Day 10
• If you cannot book departing flights after 6:00 PM on Day 10, you can request an extra night's stay in Entebbe for an additional cost
• Carry USD or change to local currency as you may need to pay for extra activities in the parks and many facilities do not accept cards
• Be prepare for a high level of physical activity. The ten-day trip is exhilarating but can also be physically and mentally draining with very early mornings, long drives, long hikes, new food, often no cell signal or internet access, different accommodations, and sometimes no hot showers.
• Accommodation is on 2 people sharing basis (twin beds or double beds)
A driver picks you up from Entebbe International Airport as soon as you land. They will be waiting for you at the terminal and be holding a sign with your name on it.
It is recommended that you book flights arriving before noon local time if you want to see some of the city.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
