Start your adventure by meeting your guide at the Wadi Shab parking area, located just before the tunnel on the Muscat–Sur highway. This tour is designed for self-drivers or travelers arriving by taxi, with no pick-up from Muscat included.
After a short boat transfer across the river , begin your guided hike through the beautiful Wadi Shab canyon. The trail winds through date palms, rocky paths, and crystal-clear pools surrounded by cliffs.
After about 45–60 minutes of hiking, reach the main pools where you can swim in turquoise waters and explore a hidden cave with a small waterfall inside – one of Oman’s most magical natural spots.
Enjoy free time to relax, take photos, or swim before hiking back to the starting point. Lunch is not included, but light snacks and drinks are available near the parking area.
Your guide will provide water and ensure your safety and comfort throughout the experience.

lease meet your guide in the Wadi Shab parking area, located near the entrance to the wadi, just before the tunnel on the Sur–Muscat highway. You will see a large parking area with a few small cafés and local boats nearby.
Your guide will be waiting there with a “GidOman Tours” or “GetYourGuide” sign for easy recognition. Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure a smooth departure.
