Starting by visiting the famous Nizwa Souq (market) which has a wide variety of products, where you can find pottery, jewelry, handicrafts, Omani sweet (Halwa), dates spice, vegetables and souvenirs which are sold in authentic old market halls. Friday cattle market is a very interesting event to attend where the locals from the nearby villages come to sell their goats, cattle, sheep in a circus style open market place. Then will visit the fort which is 350 years old, it was a military stronghold designed to withstand even the strongest of attacks at the time, even along the corridors, many traps were laid to deter any intruders that might have penetrated the defenses. Next you will have a traditional Omani lunch in an Omani house inside a small farm in Nizwa . After lunch will drive up to Misfat Al Abreiyeen, this picturesque village that lies on a steep slope and consists of old houses, narrow streets and many heritage inn houses. The village has a falaj system (since more than 300 years), many orchards, date palms and vegetables
