From Entebbe: 3-Day Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari

Embark on a 3-day safari from Entebbe or Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy game drives, a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, and a stop at the Uganda Equator.
Day 1: Entebbe – Equator Stop – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive

Depart from Entebbe or Kampala and drive southwest toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Pass through Uganda’s countryside, including rolling hills, roadside markets, and plantations.

Stop at the Uganda Equator – Kayabwe for photos, the classic water “flow direction” experiment, souvenir shopping, and a short break. Continue through Masaka and Mbarara with a lunch stop en route before heading deeper into western Uganda.

Arrive at the park, check in at your lodge, and relax before heading out for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, hyenas, and various bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Enjoy a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the park. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, topis, bushbucks, hyenas, occasional leopards, and many bird species.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. After lunch, head for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway linking Lake George and Lake Edward. See large hippo populations, Nile crocodiles, elephants at the shoreline, buffaloes cooling in the water, monitor lizards, fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans, and other water birds.

Return to your lodge for relaxation. Optional evening activities include a short game drive or cultural visit. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Entebbe

After breakfast and check-out, begin the return journey to Entebbe or Kampala. Enjoy scenic landscapes including crater lakes, tea plantations, banana farms, and rural villages along the way. Stop for lunch en route before continuing to Entebbe. Arrive in the evening and drop off at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel.
