From Entebbe: 3-Day Jinja, Sipi Falls, and Nile River Tour

Day 1: Entebbe, Ssezibwa Falls, Jinja, and the Source of the Nile

Begin your trip with a morning pickup in Entebbe, followed by a scenic drive along the Kampala bypass heading east. Your first stop is Ssezibwa Falls, a peaceful natural and cultural site known for twin waterfalls, forest walks, and traditional Buganda heritage stories.

After the stop, continue to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital. In the afternoon, visit the famous Source of the Nile, where Lake Victoria feeds the world’s longest river. Take a boat ride, relax by the riverbanks, and enjoy sunset views.

End the day staying at Nile River Explorers Camp, a riverside campsite with a relaxed atmosphere, campfires, and Nile views.

Day 2: Nile Adventures and Sipi Falls

Spend the morning enjoying adventure activities on the Nile, such as white-water rafting, tubing, kayaking, or quad biking. Jinja is known for its Grade 4–5 rapids, making it one of the best rafting destinations in Africa.

After lunch, begin a scenic drive toward Sipi Falls, located on the slopes of Mount Elgon. The journey takes you through Mbale and into cooler highland terrain with beautiful landscapes.

Day 3: Sipi Falls Exploration and Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, explore the breathtaking Sipi Falls area. The site has three main waterfalls, surrounded by cliffs, coffee farms, and panoramic views of the Karamoja plains.

Activities include guided waterfall hikes, coffee tours, photography, and optional abseiling. After lunch, start your return journey back to Entebbe, ending the trip in the evening.
