Your English-speaking Ugandan driver-guide will collect you from your Kampala hotel at 8:00 AM. We begin with a scenic drive through Mabira Forest, one of Uganda’s largest natural rainforests, stopping for photos and a short nature walk under the ancient canopy. Next, explore the sacred Sezibwa Falls, a stunning Buganda cultural site where waterfalls cascade through lush forest and local guides share traditional legends.

We then cross the impressive New Jinja Bridge into Jinja town. At the legendary Source of the Nile, confirmed by explorer John Hanning Speke in 1862, you’ll stand where the world’s longest river begins its 6,650 km journey to Egypt. Take photos, enjoy an optional boat ride to the exact source point, and visit the Mahatma Gandhi memorial statue overlooking the water.

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with Nile views before a photo stop at Bujagali, the famous stretch of white-water rapids. You set the pace with no rushing for other tourists. We return you to your Kampala hotel by 4:00 PM.
