Embark on this unforgettable 3-day Uganda safari tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park and experience the breathtaking beauty of Uganda’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Equator stopover
Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe, heading west toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, passing through rural villages, rolling hills, and lush tea plantations.
Enjoy an en-route lunch. After lunch, continue the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Check in at your lodge and, if time allows, go for a short scenic drive or relax while enjoying the sunset over the park’s open savannah.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast, start the day with a sunrise game drive in Kasenyi Plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the park. Try to lookout for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and Uganda kobs. Your guide will take you to the best locations for wildlife spotting while sharing insights about the park’s ecosystem.
In the afternoon after your lunch, head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat safari. This waterway is home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos and crocodiles, along with hundreds of bird species, including African fish eagles and kingfishers. The boat cruise offers a relaxing way to enjoy the park’s beauty while watching elephants and buffaloes along the shores.
Later in the evening, embark on the journey to explore some of the crater lakes in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive out of the park, with a chance for a final game drive en route as you pass through the park. Stop at the Equator monument for a photo opportunity before continuing the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening.
