Embark on a 5-day trekking adventure through the breathtaking Cordillera Huayhuash, one of Peru's most spectacular mountain ranges.
Your journey begins with an early morning transfer from Huaraz to the village of Llámac, where the trek starts. Hike through beautiful valleys and mountain landscapes to the first campsite at Jahuacocha.
Continue across the Sambunya and Rondoy Passes before descending to Matacancha Camp. Along the route, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
On the third day, trek across Cacanan Punta Pass while admiring Pucacocha Lagoon before continuing over Carhua Pass and descending to Carhuacocha Camp.
The fourth day is dedicated to exploring the impressive Kanrajanca, Siula, and Quesillococha lagoons before hiking to the Siula Pass and returning to camp.
On the final day, retrace part of the route back to Matacancha, where transportation will be waiting to return you to Huaraz.
Throughout the trek, enjoy freshly prepared meals, camp in spectacular mountain surroundings, and experience the natural beauty of the Cordillera Huayhuash with the support of an experienced trekking team.

Pickup is available from hotels in Huaraz.
The entrance fee to the Cordillera Huayhuash is paid separately.
Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
The itinerary may change depending on weather conditions causes cancellation, rescheduling, or a critical change, we offer a full refund.

- Transportation from your hotel in Huaraz to the starting point of the trek
- Transportation from the end of the trek to your hotel in Huaraz
- Camping equipment: Good quality mountain tents (2 people per tent), meal tent, kitchen tent, tables, chairs, crockery and kitchen utensils.
- Food: breakfast, lunch and dinner (vegetarian menu possible).
- Guide: Certified hiking guide (English or Spanish)
- Cook trained to prepare varied and healthy dishes.
- Arriero: responsible for loading the donkeys and driving them.
- Donkeys: The number of donkeys depends on the size of the group. You can transport up to 8 kg of personal items which will be loaded on the donkeys.
- During the day, you will only carry your backpack with items for personal use.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
