Start your day with an early departure from Huaraz at approximately 6:00 AM and travel toward Parón Lake, one of the scenic destinations in the Cordillera Blanca.
Upon arrival, explore Parón Lake and admire its turquoise-colored waters surrounded by impressive mountains and snow-capped peaks. The area offers several viewpoints where you can enjoy the natural landscape and take photographs.
From Parón Lake, begin a trekking route toward the Artesonraju viewpoint. During the walk, you will have the opportunity to appreciate different views of the lake, surrounding mountains, and glaciers. The trail is natural and requires basic physical fitness. The maximum altitude reached during the tour is approximately 4,200 meters above sea level.
After visiting the lake and viewpoint, return toward Huaraz. Along the way, stop in the city of Caraz, where you can have lunch and try traditional local treats from the region. Lunch and personal purchases are not included in the tour price.
The tour includes the entrance fee to the Cruz de Mayo Community. Bring cash for lunch and additional purchases, as digital payment services such as Yape, Plin, and card payments may not be available along the route.
