Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel at 8:30 a.m., we will begin this tour of the city of Arequipa. Firstly, we will visit the cloisters of La Compañía, which were part of an 18th century palace and currently house modern establishments under their arches.
We will continue the tour of Arequipa from above. As? Visiting the main viewpoints of the city: Cristo Blanco, the Volcanoes and Sachaca. In the latter you will have the opportunity to taste the typical Arequipa frozen cheese. Quite a delight!
Afterwards, we will walk across the Fierro Bridge, designed by Gustave Eiffel himself. Does this name sound familiar to you? For sure yes! From here we will contemplate another beautiful view of the city and the volcanoes that surround it, to head towards the Plaza de Yanahuara, where we will see the famous spicy shops.
Next we will go to Mundo Alpaca, a zoo where we will see different specimens of this breed of camelids and we will be able to admire the textile garments made from their wool. You will love it!
To conclude the visit, we will approach the San Lázaro neighborhood to learn about the origin of the city of Arequipa. Did you know that it was here where the first Arequipa church was built?
The tour will end at 1:30 p.m. in the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa.
