Description

Experience Paracas between the sea and the desert: sail to the Ballestas Islands to discover their marine life and then continue along a coastal route through beaches, cliffs, and stunning natural landscapes.
7:40 a.m. – Meet and greet in Paracas
Meet at our Like Xplorer Perú office to check in.

8:00 AM – Sailing through the seascape of Paracas
Start the boat tour of the bay. See the mysterious Candelabro geoglyph engraved on the peninsula and continue out to sea toward the Ballestas Islands.

Ballestas – Wildlife among rock formations
Cruise around the islands and discover an environment inhabited by sea lions and numerous birds. With a bit of luck, you'll also be able to see Humboldt penguins during the tour.

10:00 a.m. – Drop-off and break in the bay
Return to the jetty and enjoy some free time before starting the second part of the experience.

10:45 a.m. – From the ocean to the desert coast
Continue by tourist transport to the Paracas National Reserve. The landscape changes completely as you travel through desert, cliffs, and views of the Pacific Ocean.

Route through the natural landscapes of Paracas
Discover La Catedral, admire Playa Supay, and continue to the distinctive landscape of Playa Roja. The route continues to La Mina Beach, where you'll have time to enjoy the surroundings.

Lagunillas – Flavors by the Pacific
Arrival in Lagunillas, where you will have some free time for lunch at your own expense and to explore this small part of the coast.

3:00 p.m. – Drop-off in Paracas
Return to Paracas and the end of our route among the ocean, marine fauna, and desert landscapes.

Note: You can leave your luggage at our office while you're on the sightseeing tour.

If the Harbour Master's Office closes the Ballestas for security reasons, an alternative route may be offered, subject to availability.
Bring sunscreen, a hat, water, and wear comfortable clothing.
You can store your luggage at our office during the activity.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
