Begin your journey in Cusco and travel to Paucartambo and Acjanaco, where the landscape changes progressively as you descend through the mountains. This altitudinal transition is one of the great attractions of the route: in just a few hours, go from Andean environments to cloud forests, where humidity, vegetation, and temperature completely transform the environment. Continue your descent into the Amazonian zone, following the natural corridor that connects the Andes with the Amazon basin.
Make strategic stops to contemplate the landscape, interpret the different ecosystems, and observe the transformation of the flora. In the cloud forest areas, you may find emblematic species such as the cock-of-the-rock, as well as numerous birds, butterflies, orchids, and other species typical of these ecosystems. Observe wildlife while respecting the natural behavior of the animals, without chasing or disturbing their habitat.
Once in the Amazonian environment, the experience takes on a completely different dimension. Walk along jungle trails and explore the forest, paying attention to its sounds, movements, and small signs of life. With patience and specialized guidance, search for different species of birds, primates, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. Depending on the sector visited, weather conditions, and wildlife activity, you may also have opportunities to observe species such as monkeys, caimans, and other Amazonian species.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
