From Puno || exploring La Paz and Tiwanaku || full Day

Experience a fascinating journey "From Puno" to La Paz and the ancient ruins of Tiahuanaco. Discover the cultural richness and amazing landscapes that unite two worlds on this exciting excursion.
La Paz, Bolivia's Andean jewel, captivates with its spectacular altitude and unique blend of tradition and modernity. Explore its vibrant streets, enjoy its rich culture and admire the towering peaks of the Andes that surround this unique city.

We will start very early in the morning, picking you up at your hotel at approximately 4:00 am. From here we will start our journey to the border of Peru - Bolivia, located in Desaguadero, here we will enter Bolivia towards La Paz.
After 4 hours, we will arrive at our destination, and we will have a guided tour of the colonial neighborhood, 16 de Julio Avenue and Mariscal Gamaara Avenue.
We will continue visiting the historic center, where we will be able to see the Neoclassical Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace next to Murillo Square. We will have time for lunch on our own.
After our short break we will visit the Santo Domingo Convent and the Witches Market. Finishing in La Paz, we will take the bus that will take us to the archaeological site of Tiwanaku, where one of the most important pre-Columbian cultures of Bolivia developed.
We will make a tour visiting and delving into its secrets: the temple of Kalasasaya, the pyramid of Akapana and the Sun Gate. We will also have the opportunity to admire the queros or ceremonial vessels, as well as its walls decorated with figures of human faces called huaco-portraits.
At the end of the tour, you will have an overview of the cultural and patrimonial richness of Bolivia.
With all that you have seen during the day and the great emotions experienced, we will embark back to Peru and be in Puno between 14:00 and 15:00 hours.
