Description
You will know the main Archaeological sites of Cusco, which are its most important temples and the guide will tell you about the history of this fantastic city full of symbology and mystery.
At 1:30 p.m., you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco by one of our local guides to begin our tour of the city.
- We will begin by visiting the Coricancha, an impressive building for Inca ceremonial use, followed by the main square and streets with colonial-style buildings on Inca sites.
- Then we will drive to the outskirts of the city of Cusco to visit several sets of archaeological ruins, such as: The Inca baths of Tambomachay, the military observatory of Pucapucara, the military fortress of Saccsayhuaman due to the presence of enormous carved rocks that weigh more than 145 tons showing absolute perfection and the mystical and ceremonial Center of Quenqo where we will enter through some underground passages that show evidence of having been a special place to mummify their dead.
Our guide will provide an excellent explanation about each of them, you will have enough free time to walk around and take photographs from different angles. Later we will return to the city center to be dropped off at your respective hotel.
- Our transportation: it is fully equipped, has air conditioning and heating and reclining seats, experienced drivers for each tour route and very friendly.
