From Cusco: Choquequirao trek and adventure |5Days-4Nights|

A trip to Choquequirao will take you through stunning mountain landscapes in Peru. He experiences adventure, history and natural beauty and discovers a fascinating archaeological site.
Day 1: Cusco – Capuliyoc – La Playa

- After being picked up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 am, drive for 4 hours to Capuliyoc (2911 m / 9550 ft),
- The beginning of the walk to Choquequirao. The first day is 6 hours, mainly downhill towards Aprumimac Canyon. We camped at Playa Rosalina (1478 m / 4849 ft).

Day 2: Rosalina Beach – Choquequirao

- Wake up in your tent with freshly brewed coffee, enjoy breakfast, and begin the 8-hour climb to the Inca site of Choquequirao (3057 m/10029 ft).
- We spent the night just 20 minutes from the citadel with spectacular views.

Day 3: Explore the ruins of Choquequirao.

- After breakfast, you will explore the great Choquequirao all day, visit with your tour guide the most notable places and learn so much history of the Incas.
- We camped in the same area.

Day 4: Choquequirao – Marampata – Chikiska.

- After enjoying the fantastic views of the mountains, we began the return to Cusco.
- First it's a 4 hour descent back to the Apurimac Canyon, then another 2 hours uphill to our camp in Chiquiska (1875 m / 6151 ft).

Day 5: Chikiska – Capuliyoc – Cusco.

- On the last day, start with a 4-hour climb to Capuliyoc Pass for lunch.
- Today you will enjoy a traditional Pachamanca barbecue with hot stones.
- After lunch, you will say goodbye to your trekking team and return to Cusco. Arrival time at your hotel is around 6:00 pm.
