Explore the Andean village of Chacas on a day trip from Huaraz. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Huaraz mountains and stop at the Punta Olimpica tunnel to admire the scenery.
We will leave Huaraz at 7:00 am and we will head north of Carhuaz, we will ascend to the valley of utlta and make a stop at the tunnel of punta olimpica, we will contemplate beautiful landscapes and the mountains of Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Hualcan and Ulta.
We will contemplate beautiful turquoise lagoons, then we will arrive to Chacas, where we will visit typical buildings and wooden balconies that characterize the town, we will give a tour to the cathedral and the workshop of artisans Don Bosco, run by a group of Italians who carve wood that is exported to Europe and USA.
