Private hiking route to the Portachuelo viewpoint

On this hiking route to the Portachuelo viewpoint we will discover the incredible landscapes of the Huascarán National Park from above. It will be a most surprising excursion!
Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel in Huaraz at 7:00 am. Once on the minibus, we will travel towards the Huascarán National Park.

We will take the route that will take us north of the Callejón de Huaylas following the course of the Santa River. During the tour, we will contemplate the White and Black mountain ranges, the buried town of Yungay and the Llanganuco ravine.

One of the most outstanding attractions of the minibus route will be the views of the Chinancocha and Orconcocha lagoons, known as the Llanganuco lagoons and from where the last stretch begins to the Portachuelo viewpoint.

Upon arriving at the viewpoint, we will enjoy incredible views of the main mountains of the Cordillera Blanca such as Huascarán north and south, Huandoy, Chopicalqui, Pisco or Yanapaccha. You will have some beautiful photos! We will begin the 2-hour hiking route descending through the mountains.

Towards the middle of the way, we will make a stop to gain strength and contemplate the waterfalls in the mountains of the Huascarán National Park. We will finish the hiking route in Cebollapampa, where the minibus will be waiting for us.

We will end the excursion at approximately 5:00 p.m.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
