From Huaraz: Climbing Nevado Yanapaccha 3D/2N

The Nevado Yanapaccha located in the Cordillera Blanca, from its summit you can appreciate a wonderful panoramic view. The name of the snowy, Yanapaccha, comes from the Quechua word.
Day 1: Huaraz - Yungay - KM 42 - Moraine Camp
Our tour starts in the city of Huaraz.
We will pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time. Then we head to the Callejón de Huaylas to Yungay, we continue the journey to the Quebrada Llanganuco. During the trip we will make brief stops to register at the control of the Huascaran National Park, in the lagoons Chinancocha and Orconcocha.
We start the hike from Km 42, we head to the Moraine camp. Our porters will be responsible for carrying logistical camping equipment.
The first 35 minutes of walking will be through a plain of rock surrounded by vegetation, we will make an ascent during this journey we can see impressive views of the imposing mountains like Chacraraju and Huascaran. After approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of walking we will arrive to our campsite.

Day 2: Moraine Camp - Yanapaccha Summit - Moraine Camp
We start the hike at 3:00 a.m. approx. We begin our ascent to the summit; after about 30 minutes we will arrive at the beginning of the glacier so we start to equip ourselves, and then start with the ascent. After overcoming crevasses and stretches of climbing for approximately 6 hours approx, and at the summit you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view, in addition to appreciate the mountain range of the Cordillera Blanca, Chacraraju, Huascaran South and North, Chopicalqui, Alpamayo, Taulliraju. After staying a while at the top, you will have time to hydrate and take lots of pictures. Finally we descend by the same route, then we head to our camp to rest.

Day 3: Moraine Camp - KM 42 - transport to Huaraz.
After enjoying breakfast, the porters will transfer all the camping equipment and we will head downhill until we reach Km 42 from where we will be transferred to the city of Huaraz.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
