Embark on a thrilling rafting experience and conquer class II, III and IV rapids on the Chili River. This tour is perfect for beginner rafters who are seeking an adrenaline rush! The best times of year for this rafting trip are the months of April to December. 

A short 20-minute drive from the Arequipa city centre, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the 'Gruta de la Virgen de Chapi' starting point. Here, you will receive a detailed safety briefing and all of your equipment. Listen carefully to your guide as he explains the rules of the river and how to use the equipment in the safest way possible.

Then, your adventure begins with a 6-km descent in a 6-person raft plus your professional rafting guide. You will be on the water for about 1 hour and 45 minutes braving the rapids and enjoying the beautiful pristine scenery. Travel among beautiful natural landscapes in this spectacular canyon formed by the volcanic rock with views of pre-Inca terraces and stunning views of the nearby volcanoes.

Your river journey will come to an end in the Chilina district from where you will be taken back to Arequipa. You will be dropped off at your hotel upon arrival.
